Common finishes include laminate, veneer, solid wood, and painted surfaces. Proper cleaning prevents damage like discoloration, warping, or finish degradation, preserving the dressing tables appearance and lifespan.

Regular dusting should be done weekly. A deeper clean, including wiping down surfaces with a suitable cleaner, can be done monthly or as needed, depending on usage and exposure to dust or spills.

Signs include discoloration, a sticky or dull finish, scratches, peeling, or swelling of the surface. If you notice any of these, discontinue use immediately and consult the manufacturers care instructions.

Act quickly. For powder spills, use a dry cloth or vacuum with a brush attachment. For liquid spills, blot immediately with a clean cloth. For stains, use a mild cleaner appropriate for the surface material, testing in an inconspicuous area first.
